Why Your Session Fee Now Goes Toward Wall Art and Albums (And Why That Matters)

Photography is more than just something to cross off a list. It’s a way of preserving your people, your memories, your love exactly as it is right now. When you book a session, you’re investing in a little time capsule. But what happens to that capsule after your photos are delivered?

Too often, I hear from families and couples who meant to print their images but never got around to it. They had every intention of making an album or putting a portrait on the wall, but life happened. The files sat in a folder, eventually lost between a dozen other digital things, and the beautiful story we captured together became something they rarely saw.

That’s what sparked this change.

As of now, your $500 session fee is no longer just the cost to book your time with me- it’s also a full credit toward your choice of custom wall art or an heirloom album. Yes, you read that right. What you invest to book your session becomes part of what you take home.

This isn’t about upselling. It’s about finishing the story.

Why I’m Making This Shift

When I walk into my clients' homes and see their images on the walls- not just in frames, but in places of honor… it’s a reminder of why I love what I do. A photo on a screen is nice. But a photograph displayed beautifully in your home? That’s something you feel. It's a daily reminder of what matters most.

Too often, we let those memories stay stuck on our phones. We let the intention to print get buried under errands and emails. I want to make it easy, meaningful, and worthwhile for you to choose print, to finish the process.

That’s why your session fee now applies toward handcrafted, lasting pieces:
• Statement wall art that turns your memories into home décor
• Beautiful albums your kids will flip through one day
• Museum-quality prints that won’t fade with time

This way, your session becomes a full-circle experience. You’re not just getting digital files, you’re investing in legacy pieces you’ll see, hold, and love every day.

What This Means for You

Here’s how it works:

When you book a session (whether it’s a family session, couple’s session, or milestone), you’ll pay the $500 session fee up front to reserve your date. This fee covers our planning, your time in front of the camera, and your gallery of professionally edited images, just like always.

But now, after your gallery is delivered, you’ll also be able to use that $500 as a credit toward any of the premium products I offer: albums, wall art, or curated collections that blend both.

It’s not just a bonus, it’s a way of making sure your memories don’t live on a screen. You’ve already made the investment; now you can see it every day in your space.

Note: The credit does not apply to loose prints or digital files, and it can’t be transferred or used later, it’s meant to be used during your post-session ordering window to help you get something tangible from your experience.

A More Intentional Approach to Photography

This change is part of a bigger mission I’m on, to help families and couples slow down and live a little more intentionally. To not just take the photo, but honor it. To surround yourselves with reminders of your joy, your connection, your story.

If you’ve been thinking about booking a session but weren’t sure what to do with the photos afterward, this is your sign. I’ll help guide you through the process so that you walk away not only with beautiful memories, but with something real in your hands or on your wall.
