A little about me-

(and why we’ll be a great fit!)

Hi, I’m Laini!

I’m based in Richmond, Indiana and I love to travel for weddings, elopements, and lifestyle sessions across Indiana & the Midwest (and beyond if your story takes you somewhere special).

I love people. Like genuinely love people. I will probably overshare a little, ask you deep questions too fast, and laugh if something gets awkward (because I am a little awkward). Kindness is my default. I believe in leading with it, always.

I live a beautiful, loud, chaotic life.

I’ve got: two wild kids, three slightly unhinged dogs, and I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for six years. I’m basically running a circus most days.

I homeschool my babies, keep them offline, and try to protect their little world so fiercely. All children are everyone’s children in my book.

Families aren’t always perfect. I know that deeply. I grew up in a split home and spent most of my school years living with my grandparents. Life doesn’t always look like the picture we thought it would, and that’s okay. It’s still worth honoring.

I’ve always found beauty in small moments. I’m endlessly inspired by families who show up as they are: playful, imperfect, & full of love. That’s the energy I love to document.

I love nature. I love the earth. I believe in celebrating and protecting the planet that gives us everything. You’ll usually find me happiest outside, breathing fresh air, chasing light (or my children), or barefoot in the grass.

If (WHEN 😉) we work together one day, just know I’ll show up with kindness, open arms, and whole lot of love.

Who I Serve:

I serve the families who care more about connection than perfection.

The moms in the thick of it: the ones who are tired and in love with their lives at the same time. The ones who feel everything deeply and don’t want this season to slip by unnoticed.

I serve the parents who know their kids won’t stay this little forever… The ones who want to remember the way their toddler clings to their leg. The belly laughs. The shy moments. The chaos in between.

I serve couples who want their love documented as it really is, not overly posed, not turned into something it’s not: just honest and full of life.

I serve the people who don’t need heavy trends or filters to feel confident in their photos. The ones who want images that feel like them, skin tones that look like skin tones, colors that feel alive, moments that won’t feel dated in ten years.

I serve people who value privacy, who protect their children, who believe their everyday life is worth honoring.

I serve the ones who want to feel seen.

If you want a photographer who shows up with kindness, who guides you gently but lets you breathe, who finds the beauty in your real-life mess and turns it into something lasting: You’re exactly who I’m here for.

My approach is driven by real life storytelling… The belly laughs, the cuddles, the windblown hair, and the way your toddler clings to you when they get a little shy. Those are the memories that matter.

I want every person who stands in front of my camera to see themselves the way the people who love them do. Because the most beautiful photos aren’t perfect - they’re real. That’s the kind of magic I’m here to preserve.

Here’s to building something new, creating slow love stories, and documenting the kind of moments that feel like home. Everyone deserves to be seen in the stories they’re living.
