While I'm based in Indiana, one of my favorite parts of being a photographer is traveling wherever a love story takes me. This adventurous couple's session at Point Dume Beach in Malibu combined dramatic cliffs, golden beaches, and genuine connection to create images that feel timeless and cinematic. What Makes Adventure Couple Sessions So Unique?
We started the session with a short hike up to the iconic Point Dume cliffs, a stunning natural rock formation that offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. F & C were so excited to explore, and the adventure made for the most incredible photos. With the wind in their hair and the ocean stretching out behind them, it truly felt like they were starring in their own romantic movie.
As they embraced at the peak, the golden sunlight illuminated their love, creating images that were both cinematic and intimate. If you’re a couple who loves adventure, Point Dume’s cliffs are the perfect backdrop to capture your story in a way that feels both epic and personal.

After soaking in the views from above, we made our way down to the beach just in time for golden hour. This is where the real fun began! F & C ran barefoot through the waves, laughed as they splashed each other, and shared quiet moments as the sun dipped below the horizon. The soft, glowing light at Point Dume Beach created the perfect romantic atmosphere, highlighting every joyful, authentic moment between them.
One of the best things about shooting at Point Dume is the variety of landscapes it offers. Within just one session, we captured the adventurous, high-energy vibes of the cliffs, followed by the soft, intimate romance of the beach. Every frame told a piece of F & C’s love story, and I couldn’t be happier with how it all came together.
